Cooking

So... because I realized that I already am who I want to be...

I decided to become someone who doesn’t hate cooking anymore.

No, I’m not saying I’m going to become a master chef.

No, I won’t host family gatherings.

And no, I won’t cook three-course meals every single day.

But I decided that I won’t hate cooking anymore. Instead, I’ll look at it as an opportunity to eat healthier, eat a wider variety of food, spend a little less money... and finally, I won’t have to eat that much meat or settle for terribly prepared vegetables.

I love vegetables, but the way they are prepared here is just terrible.

And...

I can combine it with movement and thinking.

Creating.

The things that actually interest me.

I am the master of multitasking.

Why not use it to be as efficient as possible?

Why not open one more tab next to the fifty already running?

The baklava I made last time wasn’t that bad.

I just have to buy a grinder because there is no way I’m ever chopping walnuts with a knife again.

(Yes, I did it. No, there weren’t any ground walnuts at the shop. No, there wasn’t a grinder at home. And no, I couldn’t wait until I got either of them. I wanted to make it right then and there.

Period.)
