Everything starts with a decision
And how did I become a writer?
It is easy – it is free. I could never ask for expensive tools, courses, etc. that other forms of art would have required.
And because I have always been an artist, and no one really understood that. How deeply it is a part of me.
I love experimenting and honestly, I would love to try plenty of other types of art.
But somehow my words became my magic. Nothing else can be compared to them.
I can form and shape them in such a way that people will believe nothing is impossible.
They can grab that Wheel of Fortune and ride it.
That they are not helpless but can shape their reality, change their life.
That sometimes big changes come with one single decision.
A decision that may seem huge at that moment because we are so tired, so overwhelmed, and anxiety is eating away at our will to live and keep going. And we believe that decision doesn’t matter – because it seems way smaller than it actually is.
But one single decision that seems so hard and so small can change the entire tide.
The decision to make this stupid blog, which became my mental trash bin, started shaping my life in a way I never expected. A small, seemingly unimportant thing, and still it made a huge impact. And some impacts are still forming.
Giving a tissue to someone crying on the street may change their way of thinking about people.
Telling someone, "Please stay," can save something significant.
Deciding to learn for 5 minutes a day will become 35 minutes a day.
Choosing a new habit every single day will become natural.
The decision every day that you deserve what you desire will change how you walk, how you talk, how you shine, and change your reality.
And honestly, this is what I would like to give everyone.
The knowledge that it is always darkest before the dawn.
And even on the darkest night there are stars flickering in the sky, showing the way out.
Traumas, pain, and disappointments change and shape us forever.
And there is pain and there are tragedies so deep that they will determine how we see the world forever.
But we can always choose life.
We can always choose hope.
Grieving and being afraid are more than okay.
But at the end of the day we are the ones who decide who we are.
And even if we don’t fully believe in it, we can choose.
We can choose to make that choice we are afraid of.
Sometimes it takes nothing more than a "Fuck it, I'll do it anyway."
