The Rabbit Hole Has Wi-Fi

Firefly

"Hundreds, even thousands of years ago, men would have started wars over a woman like you telling them, 'I love you.'"

I think this was the nicest thing a man has ever told me.

I never completely understood how important that sentence was.

I just felt it.

Not because it was so beautiful, but because of its hidden meaning.

The safe place I was able to create for someone who always wore a mask.

Somehow, it was so significant, so emotional, that I think it will haunt me forever.

It seems like I have another love story that will stay in my mind forever.

It feels like some people only come into my life to show me how good, how deep, love could be.

And then they just disappear.

Like a firefly in the night.

A small, flickering hope that this time it will be different.

And then it disappears into the summer night.
