The Rabbit Hole Has Wi-Fi

From The Fool to The Magician

Okay, so finally I made up my mind about where I’m heading, but it’s not public yet.

But.

The best thing is that I finally found out what my dream job is: narrative designer.

This will be the path I’m taking. It perfectly fits my PhD journey as well, so slowly all the puzzle pieces are coming together.

Finally, I’ll have the chance to live the life I’ve always wanted—the way I want to.

And I’m sure that on this path I’ll find the people and the communities that need someone exactly like me.

And I won’t have to apologize for who I am all the time.

This is my chance for a completely new beginning, where I do everything differently than I did before.

Like the raccoon in the rabbit hole.

So during these past 3–4 days, I’ve mostly been busy with all of this instead of writing my play. But now I’m going to change that, and I’ll also try to bring some order into my life before everything slips out of my hands.

I started using Notion to plan my leaving and organize everything around it. I never thought that leaving a country and actually packing up an entire life would take so much time.

I hope this app will help me keep things together and give me some structure.

But the best thing is that I barely have anything I actually want to take with me.

I also need to prepare a portfolio for my creative career, so the playwriting project has found its place in a much bigger picture. It has become part of an ultimate goal, which makes finishing it feel much more personal.

Now so many things are unfolding, and honestly, I’m scared as hell.

But finally, the path in front of me is becoming clear.

Slowly, I’m moving from The Fool to The Magician.
