The Rabbit Hole Has Wi-Fi

I am lazy for titles again

I fell in love with the quote:

"No one will come to save me. But no one will stop me either."

It honestly made me laugh and motivated me.

But at the same time, it hit me deep in my heart.

I mean, there were so many times I wished people would stand up for me.

And no, I don’t mean grand gestures.

I was never attacked by a horde of lions that someone had to save me from.

But someone coming to me and saying:

"Hey, I fucked up. Can we talk it through and figure it out? I want to make this right."

Or:

"I know you had a terrible week. Let me take this burden off your shoulders so you can get some rest."

Or:

"I know you were disappointed with the result, but you did an amazing job."

Or:

"I can see you're struggling. Let me help you find a therapist."

Or organizing a birthday party for me.

Or getting in their car in the middle of the night without me having to beg because I felt like my life was falling apart.

I always listened and thought, "Why not?"

I could do all of this.

It really isn’t that hard.
