I Deserve My Justice

Well...

I applied for the assessment.

I need my answers.

I need my justice.

I need someone, at least once in my fucking lifetime, to truly listen.

Finally, I feel safe enough to give myself the justice I deserve.

Finally, I can confront the people who caused me pain.

I no longer fear how they will feel.

If they didn't care, why should I?

Finally, I feel safe enough to look for my own answers.

To face why I struggled so much.

And why I am not where I could have been by now.

Finally, I feel safe enough to say:

Not everything is my fault.

People always say,

"Look within yourself first."

"Don't try to fix other people."

"Fix yourself first."

"Sit with yourself."

"Learn to be your own best friend."

And yes...

There is truth in all of that.

But there comes a fucking point where you are no longer the only problem.

I deserve to be a human being.

I deserve not to be perfect.

I deserve to have flaws.

I deserve not to be completely healed—because, honestly, I don't even think that is possible.

I deserve to be bull-headed.

I deserve to be stubborn.

I deserve to be exactly who I am.

And to be loved for the person I actually am.

And no, that doesn't mean I don't have to grow.

We learn.

We improve.

Until the day we die.

But that doesn't mean I don't deserve acceptance and love while I am still growing.

I deserve to live imperfectly.

And I deserve my justice.

I deserve to notice...

To acknowledge...

That I am not the only problem.

I deserve to recognize how my environment treated me.

I deserve to acknowledge how I was treated in my relationships.

I deserve the justice of knowing that I was never the only fucking problem in my own story.

Even though that is what I was always made to believe.

That somehow...

I was always the problem.

Being gaslighted over and over again until I felt I had to hide who I really was.

I deserve my fucking justice.

I deserve to stop trying to fix every single thing about myself all the time.

I deserve to be loved for my bull-headed nature.

For my feral, free spirit.

For my overthinking.

For my overcreating.

I deserve to be recognized for the things I am good at instead of constantly being measured by what I supposedly lack.

Show me one single perfect person on this planet.

I don't know any either.

So I deserve my own fucking justice.

And I deserve to stop looking for the problem only within myself.
