New Week, New Possibilities
New week.
New possibilities.
The end of last week—and the beginning of August—had a promising and interesting start.
I can smell freedom and endless possibilities in the air.
I feel an emotional freedom I have never experienced before.
I still feel a little uncertain.
I'm still finding my balance.
But hey...
I'm learning.
And finally, I have purged enough from my life to make room for something new.
My goal for this week is to start my vlog.
Yeah...
I'm scared as hell.
But I'm going to start it anyway.
Sometimes, that's the best way to overcome your fears.
Also...
I want to go to the hairdresser and finally get a crazy hair color.
I haven't decided yet, but blue, green, and purple are all possibilities.
Or a vibrant red.
We'll see.
I'll ask the hairdresser which one they think would suit me best.
This week I also want to start actually writing the play.
Which means I need a proper outline, well-developed characters, and clear symbols.
And I also have to finish reading this book about playwriting.
An ambitious plan.
But I'll make it happen.
Also...
I've been learning a lot from tarot.
About myself.
About the way I think.
About how I see the world.
And how I believe it works.
And today I finally understood the deeper meaning of the Five of Cups.
In this card, there are five cups.
Four of them are empty.
The character is sitting there, grieving, unable to see that the fifth cup is still full.
The card is about grief.
But at the same time, it reminds us that not everything is lost.
Sometimes we become so focused on what we have lost and on the pain we feel that we fail to notice the possibilities that are still right in front of us.
When we keep looking at what is gone, we cannot recognize what the universe is offering us.
And sometimes...
What is waiting for us is even better than what we lost.
We simply aren't open enough to see it yet.
I spent so much time focusing on my pain...
On the purging process...
That I couldn't see what had been right in front of my eyes all along.
But that's okay.
New beginnings deserve a fresh start.
And a clean slate.
