The Rabbit Hole Has Wi-Fi

No More Apology

I hadn’t realized how much sleep I needed until I spent three days sleeping almost nonstop.

I only got up to do a few things, but I always went back to sleep.

I had some really crazy dreams. I mean, absolutely crazy. And I still feel a bit sleepy.

But finally, my mind feels clear. Or at least much clearer.

Finally, I have stepped into an era where I truly feel that I control my mind, and not the other way around.

I’m not saying I have cleared everything out; there is no state of perfection.

But sleeping so much finally cleared out the leftover trash in my head—self-sabotage, pain, self-doubt.

I am stepping onto my throne like a queen and observing the world around me.

And I don’t give a damn anymore whether someone is coming or not.

Whether people are okay with me or not.

It doesn’t matter if someone feels intimidated by my power, by my confidence.

Whoever thinks I’m too much for them—I hope they find someone less.

A queen is not meant for everyone.

Whoever wants to bask in the sun has to deal with the beast inside too.

No one will cage me again. Neither men nor my own mind.

I am tired of people seeing only the sweet, ray-of-sunshine side of me, when I am so much more than that.

And I will never apologize for it again.
