Planning Ahead
Okay, yesterday I gave my hard feelings what they deserved: a chance to come out, have a little fun torturing me, and vent.
But today is for planning ahead again.
Setting goals, executing plans, making miracles happen, and so on.
Sometimes what we see as running out of positive fuel is actually just a lot of hard feelings that we pushed aside so we could keep going.
But they need their place too.
I need to find the time and opportunity to go to the theatre. Even alone. Who cares if I am alone anyway? I love theatre. It can turn my brain off and refresh my soul at the same time.
Also, I need to buy a Steam Deck, a new headset, and a MacBook Neo. If possible, this year.
Alsooo, it is time to set some weekly goals so I don't completely fall apart. And of course, I am writing a blog post about it so I feel the pressure to actually make it happen. I mean, it is just embarrassing if I fail...
So, first of all, I have to put some stuff up for sale. It is such a pain in the ass, but there are things I need to get rid of that would simply be too expensive to throw away. And honestly, I don't want to give everything away for free like I did in the past. I don't need a huge amount of money for them, either. Or I could exchange them for something else—that could also be a good idea.
Also, I want to finish the draft of Raccoon in the Rabbit Hole so I can fully focus on writing afterward. I spent a lot of time preparing. It is time for action.
This week, I want to finish the first module of the theoretical driving course. I want to take the test at the end of September, so I don't spend way too much time sitting on it.
I need to figure out how I can start preparing for IELTS. I need it to apply to the university I want to attend. Some parts of it will be easily covered by reading English literature, but others won't be.
Haha, this whole thing is getting scary again.
I think I'd better stop the weekly planning here and now before I get discouraged again.
I don't have to solve every single problem at once.
I can do it step by step without feeling paralyzed.
