The Sun never apologizes for shining
The Sun never apologizes for shining — and that is the greatest lesson I’m taking with me as I close this crazy journey.
Thirty-two crazy years taught me that the flame within me was somehow a burden: I was too much, too positive, too weird, too pushy… too whatever. So I tried to hide my light behind clouds, mountains, and anything else I could find, just so I wouldn’t be "too much."
But all it brought me was deep unhappiness, self-sabotage, and self-hatred.
Somewhere along the way, I forgot what it meant to believe in myself and trust my intuition — even when other people believed in me.
That became my biggest lesson from 773.
I made things happen that many people thought were impossible. Others believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. They encouraged me to stay, even during the many moments when I had absolutely no idea why they had so much faith in me while I felt like I had no clue what I was doing.
And somehow... I learned to shine again.
I met people who believed in me, who reminded me how to love myself again and fall in love with life again.
At the same time, I became the catalyst for so many life-changing moments throughout this game that even now, it’s hard to believe.
I inspired people to take their leap of faith, to go to therapy, to face their fears, to take their destiny into their own hands, and to walk away from what no longer deserved them.
How many candles did I help relight after years of darkness without even realizing it?
I helped people believe that what they saw as impossible was often nothing more than their own limitation — their unconscious mind telling them they weren’t worthy of it.
It’s fascinating to realize how brightly I was shining even while trying to hide behind the clouds. Somehow, other people saw in me what I couldn’t see in myself.
So I learned that I’m not just a ray of sunshine.
I am the Sun.
I shine. I am happy. I am beautiful. I am a catalyst that helps seeds grow after a long season of rain.
I’m not changing lives. I’m simply awakening what has always been there, waiting to grow.
And the Sun never apologizes for shining.
Neither will I.
Thank you to everyone who walked beside me on this journey. To those who are leaving, thank you for being part of the story. And to those who chose to stay and walk with me into the next chapter, thank you for believing in me.
It is never too late to listen to your heart and to that quiet little voice behind all your fears and unhealed wounds.
Goodbye, my old life. Goodbye, my old self.
Welcome, my new life. Welcome, my new self.
It is time to shine again.
