The University
If you dream—dream big. Really.
The University of Melbourne—the #1 university in Australia and one of the top universities in the world rankings.
This is exactly what I need and what I want. Not like I don't have to work my ass off just to get in, but hey: I have everything I need to learn my ass off.
I really have to start learning narrative design so I can prepare a decent portfolio. I think I need to add it to my weekly goals. Just like I really have to think about that vlog.
If I make a vlog, I honestly don't want to turn it into a mental trash bin like this blog. I really want to talk about storytelling, which was kind of my original plan with this blog too. Before I started dumping all my useless thoughts here.
But at the moment, I am kind of stuck on what kind of content I could create that would be interesting and how I could talk about it freely. I definitely need a script, but at the same time, I just don't want to read a text out loud.
Doubts and questions...
Overthinking will kill the cat, but not thinking at all would kill the cat as well.
Maybe I shouldn't force it either. I need to learn about game studies first, and then I can think about that vlog. I am not in a rush.
This is the preparation phase. I shouldn't be so hard on myself.
Small progress is still progress. And look how far I have come from where I was two months ago. It is huge progress.
I am just impatient because I know manifestation takes time. And it is easy to get discouraged.
But I am getting there.

I think I just like making my life a bit harder than it actually needs to be.
But if I am going for a doctoral program, I want to do it at a university I can be really, really proud of.
