Tides are Changing

Tides are changing.

Things are getting lighter and easier day by day.

I am learning how to flow, and my new life is slowly unfolding before my eyes.

Authenticity—I never realized how important it is. And how many of my fears actually exist only in my head.

The Wheel of Fortune is working in my favor, and I am on my way to my second chance in this weird life.

I have also realized that letting go actually means learning to go with the flow. Not forcing, not overthinking, and seeing what life has to offer you. Sometimes it is the most unexpected thing, but it may turn out to be the best one as well.

So I have my destination, I have my goals, and I am working toward them, but I don't overthink. I don't force things.

I see an opportunity, and I take it.

Just like when I saw a new literary competition for short stories. I applied with two of my existing stories. I should probably finish the rest that are still in my head, so if life wants to give me another chance, I can simply take it.

I am also making progress with my play. I have already written the first page. It is still incomplete—I haven't written the stage directions yet—but it already feels like a strong beginning.

I need a driver's license. I have never wanted to drive, but it seems like I will have to.

Also... well... I don't think my brain works the way it is supposed to. One of my first questions was whether I could bring the urns of my three dogs with me to my new home... I mean, that's an important question! I can't leave them behind. If I am moving, they are coming with me, just like the ones who are still alive.

Sooo, it is an exciting journey.

I have decided to let life surprise me and give me the things I need to become the person I was always meant to be.
