The Rabbit Hole Has Wi-Fi

Who am I?

Who am I?

I asked myself this question because sometimes I feel like people surround me with some kind of mysterious fog. As if I were someone who isn't easily understood.

Okay, I get that.

I have depth.

Really.

My mind is crazy.

Sometimes I act in really unexpected ways, but that's mostly because I process things internally. And people don't ask. And I'm not going to throw my thoughts in everyone's face.

So yeah, I get that there are parts of me that aren't easy to understand.

But at the same time, I am actually pretty simple.

I am honest.

I am true to myself and true to my values.

I love deeply, and I am loyal as hell.

Even when I know that, logically, it isn't the smartest thing to do.

Because I remember every single promise I make, and I take them seriously.

If I don't, my inner compass always pushes me back onto the right path.

I am a human being who sometimes fails to live up to her own values.

Because I make mistakes.

I make wrong decisions.

Sometimes I am tired.

Sometimes I act too quickly.

Sometimes I am too impatient.

And deep down, beneath all the layers, all the depth, all the wisdom I have gained...

I am a little girl.

A little girl with big dreams and endless hope.

Who believes most people have something good to offer.

Who believes every problem has a solution.

Who believes happily ever after exists.

Who believes in fairy tales.

Who believes that imperfection is actually perfection.

Who wants to be a princess in a sundress, laughing and dancing in the rain.

Who believes that, at the end of the day, love is the answer to every problem.

Who is a hopeless romantic.

The Sun, who simply wants to shine in the darkness of the people she loves and remind them how beautiful life truly is.
